Food and wine is a passion at Goldstone but that doesn’t mean we buy in to all the pretence that has grown up around the culinary arts and TV’s take on it over the last few years. Generally, froth, foam and drizzle for the sake of it are frowned on.
We won’t try to categorise our food (take a look at the sample menu if you want to try and pin it down yourself). But we have our own well stocked kitchen garden, an abundance of wonderful local produce and a team of chefs who know how to use them and bring out all the flavour and freshness.
The result is food that has been recognised by the AA at two rosette standard for 10 years and Michelin have listed us as a particularly quiet and relaxing hotel and restaurant for three years. So whether you choose to dine in the Orangery or the Restaurant, you can look forward to an experience that has already inspired some famous foodies to write very appreciative prose.
