AFTERNOON TEA AT GOLDSTONE
There is nothing more quintessentially English than a summer’s day, enjoying a delicious, traditional afternoon tea while looking out over a lovingly tended garden.
Rediscover the naughty pleasures of a bygone age by taking afternoon tea at Goldstone. Normally £12.50 per person, collect tokens from The Daily Telegraph Afternoon Tea promotion and savour a little guiltless indulgence for just £10 per person. While guests are always welcome at Goldstone, there will be some days when we will not be able to serve afternoon tea. May we therefore ask you to phone us in advance to make a reservation.
Goldstone Hall is a rurally located hotel and restaurant in a Georgian manor house which has parts dating back to medieval times; it is just to the north of Newport, Shropshire and south of Market Drayton.
Goldstone has built up a reputation for quality dining, very comfortable bedrooms, all set in beautiful gardens which overlook the Shropshire and Staffordshire countryside.
Goldstone has won many awards and is currently “The small hotel of the year for the Heart of England West Midland region” which confirms its position as one of the finest small hotels in Great Britain.
The hotel has an immediately welcoming atmosphere with open fires and a mix of fine antiques plus modern fabrics. This website will show you all the aspects of Goldstone and introduce you to the people and place which will provide you with a great stay and/or a wonderful meal.
We specialise in great parties and private dining, whilst having hosted many tremendous exclusive weddings. Please take some time to browse around and do not hesitate to give us a call or email with any questions or queries.
We look forward to welcoming you to Goldstone
